Compress PDF

Reduce the file size of your PDF documents.

How to Use
  • Upload PDF File: Drag and drop a single PDF file into the designated area, or click "Select PDF File".
  • PDF Information: Once uploaded, the file name and original file size will be displayed.
  • Adjust Compression Quality: Use the "Compression Quality:" slider to control the level of compression.
    • **Lower values (e.g., 10-50)** will result in smaller file sizes but may reduce image quality within the PDF.
    • **Higher values (e.g., 80-100)** will result in larger file sizes but preserve more image quality.
The "Estimated Compressed Size" will update as you adjust the slider, giving you an idea of the output file size.
  • Output File Name (Optional): Enter a desired name for your compressed PDF file (e.g., `my_compressed_document`). If left blank, the file will be named `compressed_document.pdf`.
  • Compress PDF: Click the "Compress PDF" button. A progress bar will indicate the compression status, and a spinner will show activity.
  • Download Compressed PDF: Once the compression is complete, the "Download Compressed PDF" button will become active. Click it to save your new, smaller PDF document to your device.
  • Reset: Click the "Reset" button to clear the uploaded file and reset the tool, allowing you to start a new compression operation.
